Transportation Policy
Parents of children eligible for early intervention services can receive reimbursement for transportation costs to IFSP services outside the natural environment, as per Federal and State regulations. Reimbursement covers the exact mileage for a direct route to and from the Jordan Child Development Center. Attendance records will be maintained at the center, and reimbursements are processed biannually in July and January for the previous six-month period.
Parents/guardians may choose to decline travel reimbursement, allowing funds to support other program services. Consistent attendance at services outlined in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) is crucial for maximizing benefits from early intervention.
